If You Can't Beat em', Join em'

Being the competitive person I am, I am always looking to beat the person in front of me. I am always looking to finish first. You know why? It makes me feel good, it makes me feel accomplished…But what happens when you can’t beat the person in front of you?  You are physically unable to do so. Do you bow down and surrender? Or do you join them?

You will begin to understand the purpose of walking your own trail. Your sheep identity will guide you when you are in the presence of wolves. At what point do you transition from being a sheep to a wolf? A sheep is the most harmless animal of all kind, they are just looking to stay alive and remain in their lane. As a matter of fact, the life expectancy isn't that long. That means you have from six to eleven years to transform into who you are designed to be. Have you ever been the quiet spoken person in a room, the one who isn’t as degree certified as the rest in the room? Yup, you are a sheep, placed in a room full of wolves. You are the generational curse breaker of your family, you are the first-generation graduate, you have the first successful marriage. This life is not glamorous, you will have wolves preying upon you. You will have family members trying to belittle you. Do NOT devalue your position as a sheep. 

Sheeps are world changers! They are placed in situations that will make the wolf rethink their position. So yes, you were placed in that family full of wolves so that you can show them how to become a wolf, the correct way. God placed you in that environment amongst wolves so that you can show them what having tenacity looks like. Honestly, you wouldn’t want to become a wolf surrounded by wolves. You want to create your own blueprint so that nothing can go wrong in the midst of the building. Wolves are angry, bitter and full of impediment. Wolves aren’t acquainted with everyone. They do not sympathize with sheep. Not everyone is going to be for you, you must accept that and keep moving forward, stop living in a defenseless state. Don’t ever let this world make you bitter and jaded. God placed you beneath the mountain so that you can show them how it will be moved. Don’t let anyone rob you of that sheep identity. Be the reason someone believes in good people.
